There are strong indications that we are on the verge of peak oil production and that oil production will only get more expensive and more difficult to extract until it is finally depleted. We also consider a &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malthusian_catastrophe"&gt;Malthusian Catastrophe&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jevons_paradox"&gt;Jevons Paradox&lt;/a&gt; as side effects of Hubberts Peak.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's a long one today, just over 40 minutes, you may want to do it in two parts.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thanks for listening!
